Today’s Harbin Arbitration Commission has steadily enhanced its credibility, with an increasing number of industries opting for arbitration to resolve disputes. The types of accepted cases have expanded to 42 major categories and 84 subcategories, with 8 new types added, including disputes over technical service contracts and insurance agency contracts. A total of 851 cases involved one or both parties from outside Harbin, with the domiciles of external parties covering 32 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong.

It will continue to enhance its capacity to serve major national development strategies, establish first-class international service quality and reputation, improve the development level and international influence of its arbitration business, and strengthen its ability to serve the construction of the "Belt and Road" initiative and the development of free trade zones.
Today’s Harbin Arbitration Commission is steadily advancing intellectual property arbitration, making arbitration an effective means to resolve intellectual property disputes. In June, the Harbin Intellectual Property Arbitration Institute was officially inaugurated, becoming the first arbitration institution in Northeast China to establish such an institute. It has established an intellectual property case coordination mechanism involving arbitration, litigation, and mediation with the Harbin Intermediate Court and the Harbin Civil and Commercial Mediation Center, bridging the gap between litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and striving to create a multi-level and diversified intellectual property dispute resolution model. In 2022, 171 intellectual property mediation cases were accepted, with 67 successfully mediated, achieving a mediation rate of 39.2%.
Today’s Harbin Arbitration Commission established the Harbin Financial Arbitration Institute in June 2022—the first financial arbitration institute in Heilongjiang Province. It provides professional and precise arbitration services to the financial industry, offering financial institutions convenient, efficient, and cost-effective dispute resolution channels. The Commission has also established partnerships with seven internet technology companies, including Gongdao Technology, Beijing Wangzhong, and Zhizhong, actively enhancing its capacity to handle financial cases.
