Letter of the Development and Reform Commission of Beijing and the Bureau of Finance of Beijing on Adjusting the Fee Charge Standards for Visas Issued to American Citizens Coming to China

Your Letter on Adjusting the Fee Charge Standards for Visas Issued to American Citizens (No. 4 [2008] of the Bureau of Public Security of Beijing) has been received. According to the provisions of the Reply on Approving the Adjustment of Fee Charge Standards for Visas Issued by the Mainland Public Security Authorities to Foreigners (No. 392 [2003] of the State Planning Commission, Price) of the former State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance, we hereby agree to adjust the fee charge standards for visas issued by you to American citizens coming to China, specifically, as follows:

I. The fee charge standards for visas issued to American citizens coming to China (Code: 171010012) shall be adjusted as: without regard to times, uniformly, USD 130 per capita, or HKD 1,010 per capita or RMB 940 yuan per capita.

II. Please bring this Letter to handle matters on changing the Fee Charge Permit at the Development and Reform Commission of Beijing, and use fee charge receipts for administrative cause as uniformly printed by the Bureau of Finance of Beijing.

III. The administration of income from such fee charge shall be subject to the relevant provisions of the financial authorities.

IV. Please do a good job in the publicity of fee charge according to the relevant provisions, and accept the oversight and inspection by the authorities on development and reform, finance, audit, etc.

V. The above fee charge standards came into force on January 20, 2008. The Letter on Adjusting the Fee Charge Standards for Visas Issued to American Citizens (No. 1448 [2007] of the Development and Reform Commission of Beijing) of the Development and Reform Commission of Beijing and the Bureau of Finance of Beijing shall be abolished simultaneously.
